Day 1: Full Day Ephesus Tour
You will be pick up from your hotel or Cruise port in kusadasi by your licenced guide.
Your first stop will be The House of Virgin Mary which is located up on a mountain that it is beleived to have been the place where she lived and spent the last years of her life close by to the Ancient City of Ephesus whereas St. John the apostale lived and passed away in this city.
After that your next visit will be to the Ancient City of Ephesus. Ephesus was inhabited from the end of the Bronze Age, but the location of the city was changed owing to the silting up process of the river Cayster and because of various rulers. The ancient city that we visit today is the 3rd location of Ephesus from the 3rd C BC. As you enter the site with your guide you are going to see lots of impressive monumental structures in this Greko-Roman city such as starting from the Gate of Magnesia; Agoras including the Commercial Agora, Roman Baths, Basilica, Odeon(Buleterion), Domitian Square containing more ruins spread around including Nike Relief, Gate of Heracles, Three main collonaded streets of Ephesus including the Marble street, Trajan Fountain, Temple of Hadrian, Latrines(ancient public toilets), Teracce Houses(from outside), Library of Celsus, Grand Theatre, Gymnasium and more…
After you finish your tour , the same way you drive back to hotel or port . Ending our services as saying goodbye to our guests with unforgetable memories and with the wishes to welcome them back again…

My mom and I did the day trip to Ephesus from Istanbul. Fatima was an awesome guide! Our tour was amazing, and she was a wealth of knowledge! She was happy to answer our questions, and really went the extra mile to make us all feel comfortable!
This tour was great from start to finish! Our guide fatma was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Our tour included with tasty buffet lunch. Fatma also bring us to spend some time at kusadasi Town as we requested. She also help us to bargain goods at local shop and always share a good travel tips in Turkey. Overall it is a wonderful tour and we recommend her agency if anyone wants to travel from kusadasi area.
My husband and I were collected bright and early by Fatima and her driver Ismail. We had the best day, exploring the ancient city of Ephesus with excellent information from Fatima. For lunch we were taken to a little family cafe where we watched our delicious Gosleme being made. Afterwards we visited an ancient mosque and also saw a demonstration of carpet making. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Fatima and Ismail and highly recommend anyone to join them.

We were on a private tour of the ruins and saw the sights that we wished to see. While the ruins are in need of a lot of reconstruction which is still going on. The city must have been amazing in ancient times. There are two entrances to the ruins and it is best to start at the back entrance near the Odeon so that one is going downhill as opposed to going uphill. Be prepared for large tour groups of a certain country who act as if they are the only ones at the sight and will walk if front of you while taking a picture and also stand at one sight blocking it to take multiple selfies while other people are waiting

We went to see the remains of Ephesus, a Greek town that flourished along the sea. Most of the structures are still in good shape even though Ephesus suffered great damage after a strong earthquake. The sea, however, has receded by many kilometers.
The key structures here are Memmius Monument, Temple of Hadrian, Agora, Hammams, Celcus Library, Odeon, and Temple of Artemis.
Please go there with a guide truly enjoy this ancient town.
The marble paths are a joy to walk on. They are very slippery though. Tread carefully. It’s better with an audio guide or real guide. The audio guides were not available to rent when we went. Luckily, I had downloaded an audio guide on my phone.

It is most logical to devote a day to the ancient city of Ephesus. Because Ephesus has the best examples of architecture from different periods. There are too many structures to visit. The House of Virgin Mary, Unique works that witnessed the early Christian period, Artemis Temple etc. It offers a unique accumulation of religious history that is still standing today. Everything was gorgeous. You can see cats in Ephesus. I love it. Also don’t forget to take hat because the weather is so hot.

Ephesus is a ‘must see’ historic place to be visited. One of rarest historical sites in the world. Hosts the home of Virgin Mary.It is just wonderful the history and to think this was all underground for thousands of years it was wonderful to see. Our guide was very friendly and pleasant – making the tour not only informative but also fun! I highly recommend this tour to you!

The Ephesus tour was truly the highlight of my short trip in Turkey! Such a beautiful ancient city to visit. The house of Mary and the Library of Celsus especially were amazing sights to see. The comfort of being picked up from the hotel and brought back at the end, made the whole experience even better.

We saw all the main sites in Ephesus including the Terraced Houses and the iconic Celsus library. Our guide was absolutely charming, spoke great English and gave us just the right amount of detail and answered questions very knowledgeably.We highly recommend !
Epheseus is a large area but our guıde way of narration gave us a comprehensive knowledge.Turkey is such a beautiful country a mix of Western and Eastern cultures so modern yet clinging to traditions.
